Role Description The Diploma Engineer Trainee will support daily operations of heat treatment processes at the Tijara facility in an in office, full-time role.

Responsibilities include assisting in monitoring furnaces and related equipment, recording process parameters, and supporting the implementation of standardized operating procedures. The trainee will help in basic equipment checks, routine maintenance coordination, and adherence to safety and quality guidelines on the shop floor.



The role involves learning and applying heat treatment concepts, supporting production teams in process optimization, and collaborating with senior engineers and supervisors to maintain smooth plant operations.

The trainee will be expected to maintain accurate documentation, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production, or related Engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, metallurgy, or heat treatment operations and willingness to learn advanced technologies.
- Ability to understand technical drawings, process documents, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills for monitoring and improving plant operations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to work with engineers, supervisors, and shop-floor personnel.
- Comfort with using computers and basic MS Office tools for data entry, reporting, and documentation.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to industrial standards and regulations.
- Willingness to work in shifts and in a heavy engineering plant environment at the Tijara location.
