About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer specializing in Build & Deployment with a focus on DevSecOps practices to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will possess 5-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing secure, automated software delivery pipelines. This role involves working closely with development, security, infrastructure, and operations teams to streamline release processes, embed security protocols within CI/CD pipelines, and ensure the reliability and scalability of cloud-native applications.

The DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving automation initiatives, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and integrating security solutions to establish a robust, secure, and efficient software delivery environment.

Qualifications

- 5-8 years of professional experience in DevOps, Build & Release Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevSecOps roles.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, and npm.
- Experience managing artifact repositories including Artifactory and Nexus.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and security integration within CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with security tools such as Snyk, Checkmarx, SonarQube, Mend, Veracode, or similar platforms.
- Scripting expertise in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation tasks.




- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
- Familiarity with Git workflows, branching strategies, and version control best practices.
- Hands-on experience with deploying and managing workloads on Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Understanding of monitoring, observability, logging, and reliability engineering.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within Agile teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, deployment, and release management processes.
- Automate software delivery workflows using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and modern DevOps toolchains.
- Embed DevSecOps practices into the SDLC by integrating security scanning, compliance checks, and vulnerability assessments into pipelines.
- Implement and manage security solutions including SAST, SCA, DAST, and secrets scanning to ensure application security and compliance.
- Manage build and release processes utilizing tools like Maven, Gradle, npm, Artifactory, and Nexus, ensuring efficient artifact management.
- Develop deployment automation strategies for cloud-native and containerized applications, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes platforms.
- Build and maintain container images and orchestrate deployment processes on Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to enable scalable and repeatable infrastructure provisioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize release cycles, improve security posture, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Establish standardized deployment, versioning, branching,



and release management practices across teams.
- Monitor platform health, deployment success rates, and application reliability, proactively addressing issues as they arise.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
- Support cloud deployment and infrastructure management across Azure and OCI environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, security, and infrastructure issues across various environments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on automation, observability, security, and operational excellence.
