Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience in infrastructure automation and on-premises provisioning. The role involves automating end-to-end infrastructure build provisioning across on-premises environments and Azure, with a robust focus on secure, repeatable and auditable automation.

The engineer will work on a ServiceNow-led intake, approval, orchestration and closed-loop status model, leveraging Jenkins and Ansible for on-premises infrastructure and Azure DevOps/Terraform for cloud provisioning.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead secure and repeatable on-premises infrastructure build provisioning pipelines.
- Design and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated provisioning and configuration.
- Create reusable pipeline templates covering:
- VM / Physical Host Provisioning
- OS Deployment
- Configuration
- Certification
- Rollback
- Implement hardened-image validation, security scan gates, secrets management, approvals and audit evidence.
- Develop and maintain Ansible roles and PowerShell modules for infrastructure automation.
- Implement test automation and participate in code reviews.
- Integrate automation workflows with ServiceNow for intake, approvals, orchestration, CMDB and change updates.
- Support Azure automation using Azure DevOps and Terraform.
- Implement logging and monitoring for automation pipelines and infrastructure.
- Perform root-cause analysis (RCA)



and troubleshoot provisioning/configuration issues.
- Support UAT, deployment and hypercare activities.
- Ensure automation follows security, compliance and infrastructure standards.

Required Skills
- 8–10 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Infrastructure Automation.
- Solid hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD.
- Strong experience in Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell.
- Good programming/scripting knowledge in Python.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Knowledge of Git and source-code management.
- Strong experience with Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with security scanning and compliance controls.
- Knowledge of secrets management.
- Experience with infrastructure logging, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps and Terraform.
- Understanding of ServiceNow, CMDB and Change Management is preferred.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of secure and automated infrastructure provisioning.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in DevOps and infrastructure automation, particularly Jenkins + Ansible-based on-premises provisioning, with exposure to Azure, Terraform, ServiceNow and security/compliance automation. Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
