We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, automation, and cloud security. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring technical excellence, strategic thinking, and the ability to mentor engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- 3 years of hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters (EKS preferred; AKS/GKE/OpenShift acceptable).
- Strong expertise in AWS services including EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch, ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling, Lambda, and ECS.
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (preferred) or AWS CloudFormation.
- Solid experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Docker, Git, Linux administration, and scripting (Bash/Python).
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and cost optimization.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.





Key Responsibilities

- Lead the architecture, implementation, and management of scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Own and manage Kubernetes platform operations, upgrades, security, performance tuning, and best practices.
- Design and implement enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and faster software releases.
- Define and implement Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform and automation frameworks.
- Drive infrastructure automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across engineering teams.
- Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident management processes to ensure platform reliability.
- Lead root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Security, Product, and Architecture teams to define deployment strategies and cloud architecture.
- Implement cloud governance, security controls, compliance standards, and disaster recovery plans.
- Optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and cloud costs.
- Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, conduct technical reviews, and promote DevOps best practices.
- Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to improve platform reliability and developer productivity.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to long-term cloud and DevOps strategy.
