About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps &

- Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. In this role, you will own and manage our entire Azure and Microsoft technology stack, ensuring robust infrastructure, container orchestration, data platform management, and security operations. You will be responsible for designing scalable and secure architecture, automating deployment processes, monitoring system health, and implementing best practices for security and compliance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex cloud environments, influence architectural decisions, and contribute to the stability and security of our enterprise solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on Azure and Microsoft technologies. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS), and database administration (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) is essential. Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, data platforms like Microsoft Fabric and OneLake, and API integrations with Dynamics 365 and ERP systems is highly desirable.

Candidates should demonstrate expertise in security management, vulnerability mitigation, monitoring, and automation tools.

Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-500, or CKA/CKS are preferred, along with a good understanding of networking, scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python),



and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

- Architecture &
- Design —
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cloud architecture diagrams covering network, compute, data, and security layers. Continuously evolve and optimize the architecture as the environment scales and recent requirements emerge.
- Azure Infrastructure —
- Manage virtual machines, virtual networks, network security groups, application gateways, and identity/access controls. Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep for consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Containers —
- Deploy, upgrade, and secure AKS clusters and container registries. Build minimal, hardened Docker images with integrated CVE scanning to ensure security compliance.
- Databases —
- Administer relational databases including Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Optimize schema design, query performance, ensure high availability, and manage backups and restores.
- Search &
- Log Store —
- Oversee Elasticsearch/OpenSearch clusters, managing indexing, retention policies, shard sizing, snapshots, and cluster health. Maintain and optimize centralized logging solutions such as ELK/EFK stacks.
- Data Platform —
- Manage Microsoft Fabric and OneLake environments, including workspace setup, capacity planning, access control, data pipelines, and governance policies.
- Business Application Integrations —
- Handle integrations with Dynamics 365 and ERP systems, managing API authentication, data synchronization, error handling, and environment refreshes.
- Secrets Management —
- Maintain Azure Key Vault, enforce scheduled rotation policies for secrets, keys, and certificates,



and eliminate hardcoded credentials across environments.
- Monitoring &
- Alerting —
- Implement comprehensive observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Grafana. Define SLIs/SLOs and configure alerts to ensure rapid response to anomalies.
- Log Governance —
- Establish log retention policies aligned with compliance standards, managing archival tiers and ensuring audit readiness.
- Security &
- Vulnerability Management —
- Conduct continuous security scans, triage CVEs, and remediate vulnerabilities promptly. Operate security tools like Defender for Cloud and Sentinel.
- Protection &
- Threat Prevention —
- Configure Azure DDoS Protection, Web Application Firewall, rate limiting, geo/IP filtering, and anti-scraping measures to safeguard infrastructure.
- Patch &
- Update Management —
- Maintain current OS, kernel, runtime, and library versions across servers and container images. Execute emergency patches for critical vulnerabilities.
- Automation &
- Job Management —
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Document all scheduled jobs, their purpose, schedules, owners, and failure alerts.
- Backup &
- Disaster Recovery —
- Develop and test backup strategies, ensuring data integrity and rapid recovery with defined RTO and RPO targets.
- Documentation —
- Keep runbooks, SOPs, change logs, and asset inventories accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date to facilitate operational continuity.
