- Understand and Perform mechanical design using 3D design software
- Analyze 2D drawing to understand GD&T; requirements
- Understand part specifications and translate them to Design specifications
- Relate design to manufacturing process specifications
- Ensure timely delivery of projects meeting specified quality parameters
- Prepare required documentation for implementation and delivery of the project
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturing team to ensure completion of required tasks
- Analyse dimensional inspection reports to ensure quality requirements are met
- Understand material specifications and properties
- Interact with sales team or customers to ensure information on implementation of projects is communicated
- Perform RCA and CAPA in case of reported non-conformities
Preferred candidate profile
- Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
- Competent in 3D Design and 2D drawing GD&T;
- Experience in Manufacturing of engineering components
- 2-3 yr exp in Manufacturing industry preferred
