Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Creo, SolidWorks and AutoCAD to support our mechanical design and engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop 2D drawings and 3D models using Creo, SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, machines, jigs and fixtures.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing, fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Prepare and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and related design documentation.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and GD&T.;
- Modify and update designs based on production and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase and other departments for design-related requirements.
- Support prototype development, testing and manufacturing activities.
- Ensure designs are practical, accurate and suitable for manufacturing and assembly.
- Maintain proper drawing revisions and engineering records.
- Identify opportunities for design improvement,



quality improvement and cost reduction.
- Provide technical support to the production team whenever required.

Required Skills
- Good working knowledge of Creo, SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Solid skills in 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
- Good understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of fabrication, machining, sheet metal and assembly will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerances and engineering drawings.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Candidate Profile
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design.
- Candidates with strong design software skills and manufacturing exposure are preferred.
- Candidates will be considered for Engineer or Senior Engineer based on their experience and technical skills.
