- Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop belt conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, loading/unloading conveyors, telescopic conveyors and other material handling equipment.
- Prepare detailed 3D models, assemblies, fabrication drawings and GA drawings using SolidWorks.
- Perform basic engineering calculations for conveyor capacity, power, shaft, gearbox, belt, rollers and structural components.
- Prepare BOMs and support procurement, production and project teams with technical inputs.
- Review designs for manufacturability, cost optimization and quality.
- Coordinate with production and site teams for design modifications and troubleshooting.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant engineering standards and project requirements.
