Role & responsibilities

- Extensive Knowledge in CATIA V5 / 3DX (GSD, Part Modelling, Drawing, Assembly &
- Kinematics)

- Expertise in Chassis Systems Design and Development - Brakes, Suspension, Wheels/Tires

- Expert in Sheetmetal design, Engineering operations, Manufacturing processes

- Good Knowledge and hands-on experience in GD&T;

- Positive Knowledge in Teamcenter Engineering &

- Vismockup

- Knowledge in WERS, GPDS &

- DPA 0/1, Ford Global Change Management (GCM) process would be an advantage

- Having flexibility to work across time zones as role involves extensive interaction globally

- Responsible for developing CAD models, Drawings &

- GD&T; in CATIA / 3DX, for Chassis components in Suspension, Brakes, Steering

- Functional expertise in design and development of Chassis aggregates and to take technical decisions with D&R; Engineers and suppliers as required

- Ability to ground-up design of Chassis components through detailed design and delivery into production, by establishing manufacturing, assembly and service feasibility

- Good understanding of New Product Development process, program milestones and delivery success criteria for Engineering
