HVAC Design & Estimation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a technically sound and detail-oriented HVAC Design & Estimation Engineer responsible for HVAC system design, heat load calculations, BOQ preparation, technical estimation, costing and preparation of accurate technical-commercial proposals for HVAC projects.

Key Responsibilities

 Prepare HVAC heat load calculations, layouts, ducting, piping and schematic drawings using AutoCAD.

 Prepare drawing revisions, PDF files and technical drawings as per project requirements and senior engineer's instructions.

 Prepare initial BOQs, quantity take-offs, BOQ data and project estimations.

 Assist in preparation and revision of project quotations and tender BOQs.

 Prepare technical datasheets, compliance statements, equipment schedules and proposal documents.

 Maintain proper project files, drawings, BOQs, quotations and technical documentation.

 Coordinate with Design, Sales, Purchase and Project/Site teams for technical requirements and project support.

 Provide technical support to the Sales team for client requirements, quotations and proposals.

 Ensure accuracy of drawings, BOQs, estimations and technical documents and minimize errors/rework.

 Complete assigned design, estimation and documentation tasks within defined timelines.

 Follow company-approved engineering standards, drawing formats and documentation procedures.





 Submit daily work progress and pending-task updates to the reporting manager.

Required Skills

 Good knowledge of HVAC Design, Heat Load Calculation & Estimation.

 Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.

 Understanding of HVAC equipment, ducting, piping and ventilation systems.

 Ability to prepare BOQ, BOM, quantity take-off and costing.

 Good technical understanding and analytical skills.

 Strong coordination and communication skills.

 Ability to read and understand HVAC drawings and project specifications

Qualification & Experience

Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
