About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Credit Risk professional to manage and underwrite large corporate exposures. Balance sales growth, credit quality, portfolio profitability, and risk management to deliver sustainable business outcomes. The role involves detailed financial analysis, credit assessment, portfolio monitoring, and supporting recovery and loss minimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and deliver annual/quarterly revenue, and business acquisition targets by identifying new opportunities across large corporates, financial institutions, and strategic accounts, while driving profitable portfolio growth.

- Drive end-to-end corporate credit underwriting through comprehensive assessment of financial statements, cash flows, leverage, liquidity, profitability, debt servicing capacity, business fundamentals, and key credit risks.

- Lead financial modelling, sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis, and present high-value/complex credit proposals to senior management and credit committees with clear recommendations, risks, and mitigants.

- Monitor portfolio performance and credit quality, proactively identifying Early Warning Signals, concentration risks,



and emerging risks, while recommending appropriate risk mitigation and exposure management strategies.

- Strengthen credit governance and risk management practices while ensuring adherence to risk appetite, underwriting policies, and delegated authorities; provide independent credit judgement, lead/mentor teams, and foster a culture of accountability, commercial discipline, and risk excellence.

Desired Profile

- 12+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Corporate Underwriting, Banking, Credit Insurance, Rating Agencies, Financial Services, or related sectors.

- Proven experience in large corporate exposures, large-ticket underwriting, and business development/sales.

- Expertise in financial statement analysis, cash-flow assessment, financial modelling, credit appraisal, and portfolio management.

- Robust senior-level relationship management, negotiation, presentation, and decision-making skills.

- MBA / PGDM – Finance | CA | CFA or equivalent qualification in Finance, Banking, Credit, Risk Management, or related disciplines.
