Job Summary /n We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented production professional to lead the operations of a high-speed C1S Coated Paper Machine. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in paper manufacturing, coating technology, production optimization, quality improvement, cost reduction, and team leadership. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Lead end-to-end production operations of the C1S coated paper machine, ensuring protected, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing.

/n

- Achieve production, quality, efficiency, and waste reduction targets.

/n

- Optimize machine productivity through continuous process improvement and reduced downtime.

/n

- Monitor and improve key production KPIs including OEE, machine efficiency, break frequency, coating consumption, steam and power consumption, reel quality, and customer complaints.

/n

- Ensure compliance with product quality standards and Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) parameters.

/n

- Coordinate with Stock Preparation, Coating Kitchen, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Dispatch teams for smooth operations.

/n

- Drive root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

/n

- Lead production planning to achieve delivery commitments while minimizing inventory and process losses.

/n

- Ensure strict adherence to safety, housekeeping, environmental, and statutory requirements.

/n

- Develop and mentor production teams, shift in-charges, and supervisors to build future leadership.

/n

- Support new product development, grade changes, process optimization, and cost reduction projects.

/n

/n /n Educational Qualification /n /n

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Pulp & Paper Technology, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.

/n /n Experience & Skills required /n /n

- 15–20+ years of experience in paper manufacturing, with significant exposure to coated paper machines.

/n

- Strong technical expertise in the following areas:

/n

- Paper machine operations

/n

- Online coating systems

/n

- Coating colour chemistry, preparation and application

/n

- Calendaring, reel quality and converting operations.

/n

- Specialty and barrier-coated papers (preferred)

/n

- Proven ability to improve productivity, reduce costs, stabilize processes, and lead large manufacturing teams.

/n

- Strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
