KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /n 1.
Internship Records
Management /n /n
- Maintain and update comprehensive records of student internships (summer, winter, 6-month, and other durations), including host organization, duration, stipend, and outcomes.
/n
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry and verification on POD or other designated platforms.
/n /n 2.
Placement Records
Management /n /n
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date placement records including offers, salary packages, recruiting companies, and branch/specialization-wise data.
/n
- Reconcile and validate placement data across departments and units to ensure consistency in reporting.
/n /n 3.
Industry Visit
Documentation /n /n
- Record and maintain details of industry visits, plant visits, and exposure programs organized for students.
/n
- Coordinate with faculty and industry coordinators to ensure timely documentation, attendance records, and follow-up reports.
/n /n 4. Professional & Global Certification Tracking /n /n
- Maintain records of students' qualified and global certifications (e.g., AWS, Google, Microsoft, and other industry-recognized certifications) completed through institute-facilitated programs.
/n
- Track certification enrollment, completion status, and outcomes for internal and accreditation reporting.
/n /n 5.
Competitive Exam
Records /n /n
- Maintain records of student participation and performance in competitive examinations (e.g., GATE, CAT, GRE, and other relevant exams).
/n
- Coordinate with students and faculty to keep exam registration, results, and follow-up data current.
/n /n 6.
Employability Activity
Records /n /n
- Maintain records of other employability-related activities such as workshops, soft-skills and aptitude training, mock interviews, and career fairs.
/n
- Ensure all activity data is captured on POD or other institutional platforms in a timely and accurate manner.
/n /n 7. Data Quality, Reporting & Analytics /n /n
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all record-keeping platforms.
/n
- Generate periodic reports, dashboards, and MIS for CRPC leadership, faculty, and institutional stakeholders.
/n
- Support audits, accreditation submissions (e.g., NAAC, NBA, NIRF), and management reviews with verified data.
/n /n 8. Platform & Systems Coordination /n /n
- Coordinate with the POD / ERP platform team or vendor to resolve data issues, implement updates, and improve record-keeping processes.
/n
- Guide and train student coordinators, interns, and unit-level SPOCs on accurate and consistent data-entry practices.
/n /n 9. Support to Corporate Relations Activities /n /n
- Assist the Head – Corporate Relations and the CRPC team in coordinating MoUs, HR meets, and other corporate-engagement activities as required.
/n
- Provide administrative and data support during placement drives, recruitment events, and industry visits.
/n /n EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS /n /n
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field is preferred.
/n
- A postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
/n /n EXPERIENCE /n /n
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in placement cell operations, records/data management, or corporate relations support, preferably within an academic institution.
/n
- Prior experience working with placement ERP / POD platforms or similar data-management and MIS systems is preferred.
/n /n KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES /n /n
- Strong data management skills with proficiency in MS Excel and MIS/dashboard reporting.
/n
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
/n
- Working knowledge of placement / ERP platforms and database tools.
/n
- Good communication and coordination skills to work with students, faculty, and industry contacts.
/n
- Ability to manage multiple data streams simultaneously and meet reporting deadlines.
/n
- Process-oriented approach with a focus on data integrity and compliance.
/n /n KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS) /n /n
- Timeliness and accuracy of data entry on POD and other platforms.
/n
- Completeness of internship, placement, industry visit, certification, and competitive exam records.
/n
- Number and quality of MIS reports and dashboards generated for leadership.
/n
- Turnaround time for data requests from leadership, faculty, or accreditation bodies.
/n
- Error / discrepancy rate identified during audits or data reconciliation.
/n
