Job Overview:

Yash Dental Clinic in Mogappair is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Nurse / Chair Side Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in dental care assistance and be committed to providing excellent patient care. The Dental Nurse will work closely with the dental team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic.

Responsibilities:

Patient Assistance:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.
- Prepare and maintain the dental surgery for each patient, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Escort patients to and from the treatment room, providing support and guidance.

Chairside Support:

- Hand necessary instruments and materials to the dentist during procedures.
- Maintain clear communication with the dental team to anticipate their needs during treatments.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices.

Record Keeping:

- Accurately record patient information and treatment plans in the clinic's management system.
- Update and maintain patient records, including medical histories and treatment progress.





Infection Control:

- Adhere to strict infection control protocols, ensuring a safe and clean environment for both patients and staff.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following established guidelines.

Front Desk Duties:

- Greet and welcome patients to the clinic.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred but not mandatory.

Communication Skills:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction.

Team Player:

- Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Attention to Detail:

- Keen attention to detail in patient care, record-keeping, and infection control procedures.

Adaptability:

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
