Dayforce System Analyst / Configuration Specialist

Location: India | Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Must be able to collaborate with North American teams with some overlap with Eastern Time (ET)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Dayforce System Analyst / Configuration Specialist to join our HR & Payroll team.

Reporting to the HR & Payroll Manager, you will provide hands-on support for our Dayforce environment, with a strong focus on Payroll and Workforce Management (WFM).

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly in Dayforce — analyzing business requirements, configuring solutions, testing changes, troubleshooting issues and continuously improving the system.

You will work closely with HR, Payroll and business stakeholders across North America and take ownership of assignments from requirements through configuration, testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, maintain and enhance Dayforce, primarily Payroll and WFM.
- Translate HR and Payroll business requirements into effective Dayforce configurations.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system, configuration, data and process issues.
- Assess downstream impacts before implementing configuration changes.
- Create and execute functional, regression and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Validate changes in the test environment before production deployment.
- Support UAT, defect resolution and Dayforce upgrades/releases.
- Recommend improvements to simplify processes and improve system effectiveness.
- Maintain clear documentation of requirements, configurations, testing and changes.
- Communicate risks, issues and recommendations to HR, Payroll and other stakeholders.

Required Experience

- 10+ years of hands-on Dayforce experience.
- Strong hands-on Dayforce configuration and administration experience.
- Strong Payroll configuration experience — required.
- Strong Workforce Management (WFM) experience — required.




- Experience with system testing, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Experience translating business requirements into Dayforce solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage assignments from analysis through implementation.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with North American teams and accommodate some ET working hours.

Additional Dayforce experience is an asset Experience in several of the following areas is preferred: Pay Setup / Pay Policies, HR & Employee Data, Reporting & Analytics, Workflows, Security & Roles, Data Imports/Exports, Integrations and Perks.

Experience supporting Dayforce implementations, upgrades or major system enhancements is highly valued.
