Role Description The Datacenter Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The technician will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining servers, network devices, and related infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

Daily activities include performing routine inspections, handling hardware installations and replacements, managing cabling, and assisting with system backups and basic troubleshooting. The role also involves responding to incidents, coordinating with network and systems engineers, documenting activities, and adhering to strict safety, security, and operational procedures.



The technician will work in shifts as needed to support 24/7 data center operations and contribute to continuous improvements in reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of data center operations, including server hardware, networking basics, and cooling/power systems.
- Hands-on experience with hardware installation, rack mounting, structured cabling, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and incident handling processes.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and comply with safety and security protocols.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Positive communication skills, ability to work in a team, and readiness to work in rotational shifts and on-site in Hyderabad.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Network+, or vendor-specific hardware certifications) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a data center or IT infrastructure environment is preferred but motivated early-career candidates are also encouraged to apply.
