Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Scientist role based in Tiruvallur.

The Data

Scientist will work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to analyze large datasets, uncover patterns, and generate insights that inform product and platform decisions. Daily responsibilities include building and validating statistical and machine learning models, designing experiments, and developing data-driven recommendations to improve performance, usability, and reliability of BETA’s software products. The role involves creating dashboards and visual reports, preparing clear documentation,



and presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The Data

Scientist will also collaborate on data quality initiatives, support analytics for new product features, and contribute to continuous improvement of BETA’s data infrastructure and practices.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Data Science and Statistics to design experiments, build models, and interpret results.
- Proficiency in Data Analytics and Data Analysis for processing, cleaning, and exploring structured and unstructured datasets.
- Experience with Data Visualization to create clear dashboards, reports, and presentations for diverse stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with common data tools and languages (such as Python or R, SQL, and relevant libraries/frameworks).
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques, model evaluation, and deployment in production environments.
- Ability to translate business questions into analytical problems and communicate insights in a concise, actionable manner.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- Experience working with product-based or enterprise software environments is an advantage.
