About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Services Manager to lead a team responsible for building, supporting, and enhancing enterprise data solutions. The role combines strong technical ownership with people leadership and requires hands-on expertise across Databricks and Informatica .

Notice period - short Joiners (Immediate to 30 days official)

Experiene - 9-21 years

Location - Pune The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across data engineering, solution design, production support, stakeholder management, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage data engineering teams delivering Databricks and Informatica-based solutions across development, enhancement, and production environments.
- Own the technical direction for data platforms and ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
- Drive development of Databricks data products and solutions , leveraging Apache Spark and contemporary data engineering practices.
- Oversee Informatica environments and delivery including development, upgrades, migrations, and platform-related initiatives.
- Partner with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and technology teams to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
- Review solution designs, technical approaches, interfaces, and implementation plans for complex data initiatives.
- Take ownership of critical incidents, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of data services.
- Ensure projects and releases progress effectively through the complete SDLC , from requirements and design through deployment and stabilization.




- Establish engineering standards, development practices, documentation, and governance across the team.
- Manage application/data-service portfolios and coordinate with infrastructure, operations, QA, architecture, vendors, and other technology groups.
- Plan team capacity and allocate resources across multiple initiatives while maintaining delivery commitments and service quality.
- Develop team capabilities through mentoring, coaching, performance management, knowledge sharing, and career development .
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous technical improvement.
- Manage external technology partners and vendors where required and ensure delivery meets agreed technical and operational standards.
- Identify opportunities to modernize existing data solutions and improve platform performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Mandatory Skills
- Databricks: Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark, particularly in building/developing data solutions or products
- Informatica: Strong experience with Informatica
- People Management: Demonstrated experience managing technical teams, including resource planning, mentoring, performance management, team development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong understanding of data engineering, systems analysis, and solution design .
- Experience providing technical leadership and taking ownership of complex technology initiatives.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes .
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
