Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Engineer role based in Tiruvallur.

The Data

Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support analytics, reporting, and product features. Daily responsibilities include developing and optimizing ETL processes, modeling and structuring data for scalability, and managing data warehousing solutions. The role involves collaborating with software engineers, data analysts, and product teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across multiple systems.

Engineer will also monitor data workflows, troubleshoot issues,



and contribute to continuous improvements in data architecture and best practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in core Data Engineering, including building and managing data pipelines and data infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing to support scalable, reliable storage and retrieval of structured data.
- Candidates should possess skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes to integrate, cleanse, and transform data from multiple sources.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Analytics to interpret data, support reporting, and enable data-informed decision-making.
- Candidates should have proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (such as Python or Java).
- Candidates should be familiar with modern data platforms or cloud services (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and version control tools.
- Candidates should demonstrate solid problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, with attention to data quality and security.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
