The Controllership Innovation team seeks a Software Engineer II to design, develop, and support business process solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. In this role, you will work closely with Finance and Controllership stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify automation opportunities, and deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions that drive measurable business value.

You will be responsible for translating business requirements into effective technical solutions that improve process efficiency, data quality, and operational controls. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with problem-solving ability, ownership, customer focus, and a passion for leveraging AI-enabled tools and modern development practices to accelerate delivery and enhance user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain business applications and automations using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse).
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly solutions.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, optimize, and automate business processes across Finance and related functions.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and modern development practices to improve solution quality, productivity, and delivery speed.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve issues, manage enhancements, and ensure successful delivery of solutions.
- Support and maintain existing applications, including issue investigation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
- Drive projects from requirements gathering through deployment, adoption, and support.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives, governance standards, and user experience best practices.
- Stay current with emerging Power Platform and AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions where appropriate.

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in software development, business application development, or process automation.
- Hands-on experience building business applications and automations using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Understanding of solution deployment, environment management, and application lifecycle management.




- Robust analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to solve complex business challenges.
- Demonstrated ownership, sound decision-making, and the ability to work independently in ambiguous situations.
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, understand business needs, and translate them into practical solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Passion for building intuitive, user-friendly solutions with a focus on usability, adoption, and overall customer experience.
- Basic understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data modeling concepts.

- Experience delivering finance automation solutions and familiarity with finance processes, controls, and reporting.
- Experience working in Finance, Controllership, Accounting, or related business functions.
- Familiarity with Power Platform governance, security, and best practices.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
- Demonstrated curiosity, ownership, and a passion for delivering high-quality customer experiences.
