Hirely is recruiting Cybersecurity & IT GRC Evaluators on behalf of a hiring partner to evaluate AI-generated professional work products, including documents, spreadsheets, and presentation decks.

You’ll apply your real-world expertise in cybersecurity governance, risk, compliance, security controls, and IT assurance to assess whether AI-generated materials are accurate, rigorous, complete, and professionally presented.

This is a strong opportunity for experienced cybersecurity and GRC professionals who can recognize technical and compliance issues and clearly explain what is correct, incorrect, incomplete, or potentially risky.

What You’ll Do

- Evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity and IT GRC documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
- Assess security policies, risk assessments, control frameworks, compliance materials, and governance documentation.
- Review AI-generated outputs against domain-specific quality rubrics.
- Identify factual, technical, regulatory, analytical, and presentation errors.
- Evaluate whether recommendations are practical and aligned with established security and GRC practices.
- Assess the accuracy and completeness of security controls, risk treatments, compliance mappings, and governance processes.
- Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Apply consistent evaluation standards across multiple AI-generated work products.

Who We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of relevant skilled experience in cybersecurity, IT GRC, information security, risk, compliance, audit, or a closely related field.
- Professional-level English proficiency with strong written communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly PowerPoint and Google Slides.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.




- Deep understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance, and security controls.
- Ability to objectively evaluate professional work and provide concise, well-reasoned feedback.

Relevant Backgrounds Candidates with experience in Cybersecurity Governance, IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Information Security, Cyber Risk, Security Risk Management, IT Risk, Security Compliance, IT Audit, Information Security Audit, Security Assurance, Security Controls, Regulatory Compliance, Privacy & Security Governance, Third-Party Risk, Security Policy, or Enterprise Risk Management may be a strong fit.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s degree or higher from a reputable institution.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, or equivalent are a plus.
- Experience with frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, SOC 2, COBIT, PCI DSS, GDPR, or similar frameworks .
- Experience conducting security assessments, risk assessments, audits, control testing, or compliance reviews.
- Experience working with enterprise cybersecurity programs or regulated organizations.

Compensation & Work Arrangement

- $80-$120/hour
- Fully remote
- Independent contractor

Important: This is an expert evaluation role. Prior AI or machine learning experience is not required. The primary requirement is strong real-world cybersecurity/IT GRC expertise and the ability to critically evaluate professional work products.
