Cloudforce Tech Services Private Limited is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Chandigarh to handle inbound phone calls for our US business.

Please note: this is not an IT helpdesk or technical support role. You will speak with everyday American customers about their service appointments. If you are looking for a tech support job, this is not it.

This is our first customer service hire in India. You will work directly with the company owners in the US.

What you will do

- Answer incoming calls from US customers: new customers asking about our services, existing customers with questions, and customers who are unhappy about something
- Listen carefully and write down what the customer needs: name, address, phone number, service requested, and any special notes
- Stay calm and polite when a customer is upset, and make them feel heard
- Log every call in our system, clearly and correctly
- Pass the right calls to the owners and follow up so nothing gets dropped
- Return missed calls and voicemails

This role is phones first. As you learn the business, you will grow into booking appointments and giving customers price estimates.

Shift and days

- Shift: 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST (this matches 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM US Eastern time)
- The shift moves one hour later (5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST) from November to March, when US clocks change
- Days: Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays during our busy season (March to November)
- Work from our Chandigarh office
- This is a night shift. Please apply only if you can work these hours long term.

What you need
- Excellent spoken English with a transparent, neutral accent that American customers understand easily
- Strong listening skills. Many of our customers are older and speak with a strong Southern US accent. You must be able to understand them.
- At least 1 to 2 years answering calls for US or UK customers (international voice process, BPO, or a US company)
- Patience. Some callers will be angry. You need to stay calm and kind.
- Comfortable with computers:



Google Sheets, Gmail, WhatsApp, and learning a new booking app
- Accurate typing and note taking while you talk
- Willing to work from our Chandigarh office on a night shift

Nice to have
- Experience with US home services or field services, where a team visits the customer's property
- Experience booking appointments or managing a schedule
- Experience taking payment details over the phone
- CRM experience (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)

What we are looking for
- You sound warm on the phone. Our customers are regular people, not corporate buyers. We want someone who sounds like a helpful neighbour, not a script.
- You own the problem. If something went wrong, you do not argue. You apologise, get the facts, and get it fixed.
- You are reliable. You log in on time, every day. A missed call is a lost customer.
- You keep customer information private.

- Salary: Rs 15,000 to Rs 35,000 per month, based on experience
