Role Overview

We're looking for a Creative Content Writer Intern with an interest in scriptwriting and video production to support the creation of learner-first scripts, screenplays, and visual content for BrightChamps' educational videos, live classes, and marketing campaigns. You'll assist in writing engaging scripts, work closely with video producers and educators, and help ensure content is pedagogically sound, engaging, and production-ready — a great prospect to build hands-on experience in edtech content creation.

Key Responsibilities

● Assist in writing scripts, screenplays, and storyboards for educational videos, lesson modules, ads, and promotional content for K–12 and early learning audiences.

● Support the translation of curriculum objectives into clear, age-appropriate narration, dialogue, and visual cues for video production.

● Collaborate with video producers, editors, illustrators, and instructional designers during shoots and script refinement.





● Learn and apply basic video production concepts — framing, pacing, scene transitions, and visual storytelling — to support content quality.

● Contribute to marketing and brand content: blog posts, social media scripts, video captions, newsletters, and campaign copy aligned with BrightChamps' voice.

● Help develop assessments, practice exercises, teacher notes, and facilitation guides.

● Edit and proofread scripts and content for clarity, tone, grammar, continuity, and brand alignment.

● Support localization of content for Indian audiences, ensuring cultural relevance and accessibility.

● Maintain version control, documentation, and asset organization in content management systems.

● Incorporate feedback from learners, parents, instructors, and creative reviews to iterate on content quality.

Qualifications & Skills

● Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Film, Creative Writing, Media, Communications, or a related field.

● 0–1 years of experience (including coursework, personal projects, or prior internships) in scriptwriting, screenplays, or scripting for video, animation, or digital content.

● Basic understanding of video production (pre-production planning, shooting basics,) is a plus.

● Strong writing skills with a good command of English, grammar, and narrative structure.

● Good communication and collaboration skills; eager to work cross-functionally with creative and education teams.

● Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
