Role Description The Corporate Accountant at Nexfore Consulting is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane. The person in this role manages day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and monitoring cash flow and expenses.

Accountant ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies, and coordinates with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as needed. This role also contributes to process improvements, supports management with financial analysis, and provides timely, reliable data for decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in financial accounting, corporate accounting, and general ledger management.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of local tax laws, statutory compliance, and audit coordination.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a corporate or consulting setting, preferably in safety or professional services, is beneficial.
