Role Overview

We are looking for a sharp, social-first Copywriter who can turn cultural moments, trends, and everyday observations into engaging memes, short-form content, and micro-campaigns.

The ideal candidate has a strong instinct for humour, timing, internet culture, and Tamil communication, and can write content that feels natural rather than overly scripted.

Key Responsibilities

- Create daily memes, social posts, and short-form copy for the brand.
- Develop reactive content around live cultural, social, and political moments.
- Write engaging captions, scripts, campaign lines, hooks, and headlines.
- Develop ideas for micro-campaigns and social-first creative concepts.
- Track social trends, conversations, memes, and cultural moments to identify relevant content opportunities.
- Adapt ideas quickly to trending topics while maintaining the brand's tone and voice.
- Work closely with the Creative Controller, designers, video editors, and marketing team.
- Support the Creative Controller in developing and executing the brand's overall creative output.
- Rewrite and refine content based on creative direction and feedback.
- Maintain consistency in language, humour, tone, and brand voice across all communication.

What We're Looking For
- Around 2 years of experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer, Creative Copywriter, or similar role.
- Solid portfolio demonstrating social media copy, memes,



campaigns, scripts, or short-form content.
- Excellent understanding of social-first humour, internet culture, trends, and timing.
- Strong ability to turn a current event or cultural moment into a relevant creative idea.
- Ability to write concise, witty, engaging, and culturally relevant copy.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive creative environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to take creative feedback.
- Experience with consumer brands, advertising agencies, digital agencies, or social media teams is preferred.

Non-Negotiable Requirement Fluent Tamil – reading and writing is mandatory.

Tamil should be a genuine creative strength, not just conversational proficiency. The candidate should be comfortable creating memes, captions, scripts, campaign lines, and reactive content in Tamil.

Ideal Candidate Profile A Tamil-first, social-native writer who understands why something is funny, knows when a trend is worth jumping on, and can turn a cultural moment into a sharp piece of content within a short turnaround time.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
