HYDERSPARK – THE LUXURY HOTEL is a premium hotel located in the beautiful hill station of Kodaikanal. We provide comfortable accommodation, quality food, and excellent service to our guests.

Our team focuses on cleanliness, good service, food quality, and guest satisfaction. We are looking for an experienced and responsible Head Cook to join our kitchen team.

Role Description The Head Cook will be responsible for managing the daily kitchen activities of the hotel.

The main responsibilities include

- Preparing tasty and high-quality food for guests.
- Planning daily menus and special menus.
- Supervising and guiding kitchen staff.
- Training junior cooks and kitchen helpers.
- Checking the quality, taste, and presentation of food.
- Managing food stock and checking kitchen supplies.
- Ordering ingredients when required.
- Controlling food wastage and maintaining food costs.
- Following proper food safety and hygiene practices.
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
- Coordinating with the hotel management and service team.
- Preparing food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.




- Handling guest food requests and special dietary requirements.
- Making sure kitchen operations run smoothly during busy hours.

Qualifications & Skills
- Good cooking skills and knowledge of different cuisines.
- Experience in hotel or restaurant kitchens.
- Ability to prepare and present food properly.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Ability to manage and guide kitchen staff.
- Basic knowledge of stock and food cost management.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Culinary or hotel management training is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Head Cook or Senior Cook will be an advantage.

What We Expect The Head Cook should be responsible, hardworking, clean, and disciplined, with a passion for preparing good food and maintaining high kitchen standards. Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
