About the Role

Nauke Hospitality is looking for a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our culinary team for an upcoming pre-opening restaurant project in Hassan.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, excellent kitchen discipline, and the ability to maintain consistent food quality and presentation in a professional restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes to established recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, presentation, and food quality.
- Assist with menu preparation, recipe standardisation, and kitchen setup during the pre-opening phase.
- Ensure proper mise en place and smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, storage, and wastage.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient service.
- Support pre-opening trials, staff training,



menu testing, and kitchen SOP implementation.
- Follow food-cost and portion-control standards.

Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as an Indian Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or premium dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of Indian regional cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Good understanding of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a rapid-paced environment.
- Good teamwork, communication, and discipline.
- Experience in a pre-opening property will be an advantage.
