Soni Resources is partnered with a global law firm on their search for a Temporary/Contract Immigration Attorney. This individual will be providing legal counsel and managing employment-based immigration matters with minimal supervision. This role requires strong experience handling H-1B and L-1 visa matters, applying immigration law and legal precedents to complex client situations while developing practical and creative solutions.

The attorney also serves as a trusted advisor to clients and junior colleagues, effectively communicating complex legal issues to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

- Manage employment-based immigration matters, with a focus on H-1B and L-1 cases, while operating with minimal supervision.
- Apply immigration law, regulations, and legal precedents to client matters and develop effective legal strategies and solutions.
- Advise clients on complex immigration issues and clearly communicate recommendations to a variety of audiences.




- Serve as a senior member of the client team, delivering high-quality legal support and guidance.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues by sharing knowledge, expertise, and best practices while contributing to the overall business objectives of the practice.

Qualifications:
- U.S. Juris Doctor (JD) required.
- Active membership in a State Bar.
- 3 to 4 years of immigration law experience, including required H-1B and L-1 visa experience.
- Solid understanding of U.S. immigration law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop creative solutions.

Compensation: $44-$52/hr. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications. #SONINY
