Position: Billing Engineer
Role & responsibilities The resource will be responsible for preparing and verifying contractor bills, quantity verification, maintaining measurement records, and carrying out material reconciliation. The role also includes monitoring project quantities, ensuring billing accuracy, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining proper documentation to support project execution and financial controls.
- Preparation and verification of contractor and subcontractor bills.
- Quantity verification and reconciliation with approved drawings and executed work.
- Maintenance of measurement records and supporting documentation.
- Material reconciliation and tracking of consumption against project requirements.
- Coordination with site teams for billing inputs and progress verification.
- Monitoring project costs and ensuring accuracy in billing submissions.
- Preparation of reports related to quantities, billing status, and material utilization.
Preferred candidate profile
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
- Qualification:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
- Planning and scheduling of construction activities.
- Proficiency in Primavera and MS Project planning tools.
- Material procurement planning and monitoring.
- Quantity estimation, billing, and material reconciliation.
- Solid analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of project controls and construction management practices.
