The role of the Integration Tester ensures that relevant Inspired Retail Products are tested adhering to both external compliance and in house testing standards. The Integration Tester will conduct both scripted and non-scripted tests, using Test Rail for identification of test cases and capturing outputs in Jira.

Integration Testers will be required to adhere to timely completion of required test cycles, in line with scheduled development and delivery plans. Reporting to the Integration Test Lead, Integration testers will follow Inspireds Integration test guidelines, in accordance with Quality Assurance and Quality Control Specialists.

The role is of critical importance to ensuring the quality of Inspireds products, be that platform components or game content. Attention to detail, and an excellent knowledge and comprehension of the English language, both verbally and in written form, is essential.

Specific Responsibilities and Experience

Responsibilities

- Conduct pre-determined and non-scripted test steps, on internally developed platforms, product and content, in line with agreed test schedule.
- Ensuring precise & detailed reporting of test execution and outcome within the bug tracking tool, Jira.
- Ensure issues identified during execution of test steps are documented with sufficient detail to allow them to be re-produced for investigation.
- Ensure all issues are correctly identified on scale of criticality, with associated evidence provided, to allow for efficient triage by project teams.
- Pro-actively escalate areas of concern to the Integration Test Lead, Quality Assurance and Quality Control Specialists, as appropriate.
- Deployment of testing content to test machines, utilising approved software and processes.
- Adhere to Company policies with regards to security and health and safety, reporting any breaches immediately to your Line Manager.




- Maintain confidentiality of all information received and acted upon.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by Line Manager and other Senior Company Management.
- To report any unresolved, escalating issues relating to a Customer, Supplier or team member, to your line manager within a timely fashion.

Required Skills and Experience

- At least 1 years experience of working in an Integration Test setting, team or function, handling multiple test environments, and/or projects simultaneously.
- At least 1 years’ experience of using Bug Tracking Software, such as JIRA.
- At least 1 years’ experience of using Test Management System such as Test Rail.
- At least 1 years Policy / Standards / Protocol based testing experience.
- At least 1 years’ experience in Hardware / Device Set Up for test activity in a Test Lab environment.
- General IT knowledge, confidence and literacy (ability to use MS Office, able to install software, copy files, etc.).
- Excellent written and oral communication and comprehension skills.
- Ability to think outside the box.
