Role Description The Consultant Pathologist (M.D) will work on-site in Gurugram in a full-time capacity, providing expert diagnostic services across hematology, biochemistry, histopathology, cytology, and clinical pathology. The role involves reviewing and reporting laboratory test results, validating findings, and ensuring compliance with established quality and safety standards.

Pathologist will collaborate closely with clinicians, lab technicians, and health managers to support accurate diagnoses and preventive healthcare decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising laboratory workflows,



participating in internal quality control programs, addressing complex or atypical cases, and advising on appropriate test selections. The role also requires contributing to protocol improvement, staff training, and continuous enhancement of diagnostic accuracy and turnaround times.

Qualifications

- Possession of an M.D in Pathology from a recognized institution, with valid registration from the relevant medical council.
- Strong diagnostic skills across core pathology domains, including histopathology, cytology, hematology, and clinical pathology.
- Experience in laboratory operations, quality assurance, and adherence to NABL or equivalent accreditation standards.
- Proficiency in interpreting diverse laboratory investigations and preparing clear, concise, and clinically relevant reports.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clinicians, laboratory staff, and health managers in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Comfort with using laboratory information systems and digital tools for reporting, data management, and teleconsultation, where applicable.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage a consistent full time schedule, and maintain high professional and ethical standards.
- Prior experience in a preventive or diagnostic healthcare setting, and familiarity with patient-centered, home-based health models, is an advantage.
