Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive ophthalmic consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients.

- Conduct detailed ophthalmic examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans.

- Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within the candidate's area of expertise.

- Manage both routine and complex ophthalmic cases.

- Build and develop a solid referral and patient base in Raipur and the wider Chhattisgarh region.

- Work collaboratively with other clinical specialties for multidisciplinary patient care.

- Maintain high standards of clinical quality, patient safety and ethical medical practice.

- Participate in clinical discussions, CME programmes and departmental academic initiatives.

- Contribute to the growth and development of the Ophthalmology department.





- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- MD/MS/DNB/DOMS in Ophthalmology from a recognised institution.

- Candidates with 5+ years of post-qualification experience will be preferred; experienced Consultants/Senior Consultants are encouraged to apply.

- Strong clinical expertise with exposure to ophthalmic procedures/surgeries.

- Candidates with an established patient base or referral network in Raipur/Chhattisgarh would be highly preferred.

- Good communication, interpersonal and counselling skills.

- Strong commitment to patient-centric care and clinical excellence.

- Ability to work effectively in a tertiary-care hospital environment.
