Purpose/Objective To lead and drive in office construction execution of the PCR project by coordinating contractors, resources, equipment, materials, and stakeholders to ensure safe, quality, and timely completion of project milestones.

The role will act as the single-point owner for site execution activities, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, construction schedules, safety standards, quality requirements, and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Site Execution & Construction Management - Lead day-to-day site construction activities across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines.

- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, construction methodologies, and project schedules.
- Monitor daily progress and drive achievement of construction milestones.
- Identify and resolve site bottlenecks impacting project execution. Contractor & Workforce Management - Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, and construction agencies at site.

- Ensure optimum deployment of manpower, machinery, and equipment.
- Monitor contractor productivity and performance against agreed targets.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly review meetings with contractors. Safety Management - Drive a Zero Harm culture across the project site.

- Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements, PTW system, LOTO procedures, lifting operations, and work-at-height standards.
- Conduct site safety inspections and ensure closure of observations. Quality Assurance - Ensure construction activities comply with approved quality standards and specifications.

- Coordinate inspections, testing, and stage clearances.
- Drive closure of punch points, NCRs, and quality observations.



Construction Coordination - Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, and Commissioning teams.

- Ensure availability of materials, drawings, equipment, and work fronts for uninterrupted execution.
- Facilitate interface management between multiple contractors and disciplines. Progress Monitoring & Reporting - Track daily construction progress against planned targets.

- Monitor critical activities and implement recovery plans where required.
- Prepare and present progress reports, productivity metrics, and site issues to project leadership. Pre-Commissioning & Handover - Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

- Ensure mechanical completion and construction readiness.
- Facilitate successful handover of systems to Operations.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical, or related Engineering discipline.
- 12–18 years of experience in industrial project construction and site execution.
- Strong experience in large-scale EPC / construction contractor management at project sites.
- Experience in Copper, Smelter, Refinery, Metals, Mining, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Power, or Heavy Process Industries is preferred.
- Exposure to Greenfield project execution, heavy equipment erection, structural works, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning support will be an added advantage.
