Job Title: Computer Operator – Store

Reports To: Store In‑charge / Warehouse Manager
Job Purpose To manage all store‑related data entry, inventory records, and reporting using advanced Excel and ERP systems, ensuring accurate and timely stock information for smooth store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update daily store records in the system (GRN, issue, return, transfer, stock adjustment, etc.).
- Handle ERP transactions for inventory, stock movement, and invoicing accurately and on time.
- Prepare and maintain Excel‑based reports for stock status, material movement, ageing, and discrepancies.
- Use advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF/COUNTIF, filters, sorting, data validation, and conditional formatting for analysis and reporting.
- Coordinate with purchase, production, and accounts teams for stock reconciliation and data validation.
- Generate purchase requisitions / indents based on minimum stock levels and management instructions.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of store records, challans, invoices, and reports (both soft and hard copy).
- Support periodic stock verification / physical inventory and help resolve mismatches.
- Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and timely submission of reports to the Store In‑charge / Management.
- Perform any other store‑related computer/data tasks as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Graduate (any stream); B.Com / BBA / BCA or diploma in computer applications preferred.
- Experience:
1–3 years as Computer Operator / Data Entry Operator / Store Executive in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Must‑have skills:
- Strong hands‑on experience in MS Excel (Advanced): VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, charts, etc.
- Working experience on any ERP system (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) for store/inventory modules.
- Good typing speed with high accuracy in data entry.
- Preferred:
- Exposure to store operations (GRN, bin management, FIFO/FEFO, stock reports).
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and documentation.
- Other competencies:
- Attention to detail, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and team coordination.
