We’re Hiring: Compliance Officer | Category-III AIF Location: Andheri, Mumbai, India

Experience: 5+ years in compliance (preferably in AIFs)

Type: Full-time | On-site

Join Valuewise Investment Managers LLP, a quick-growing Investment Manager to Category-III Alternative Investment Fund (Cat-III AIF) and help us ensure regulatory excellence and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure day-to-day compliance with SEBI AIF Regulations and other applicable laws.
2. Monitor fund operations and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
3. Assist in preparing and filing regulatory reports and disclosures to SEBI.
4. Oversee investor onboarding documentation including KYC, AML, and FATCA compliance.
5. Draft, update, and implement internal compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence by all stakeholders.
6. Support coordination with custodians, auditors, legal advisors, compliance advisors, etc.
7. Assist in periodic audits, compliance testing, and internal risk reviews.

Maintain records and documentation as per regulatory and internal requirements.

Skills Required:

1. Working knowledge of SEBI AIF Regulations and related compliance frameworks
2. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
3. Familiarity with compliance functions in AIFs, PMS, or capital markets
4. Good understanding of KYC/AML norms and investor onboarding processes
5. Strong communication and reporting abilities
6. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and compliance tracking tools

Bonus Points:

1. Experience with a Category-III AIF
2. Qualified LLB & Company Secretary
3. Exposure to SEBI reporting platforms and regulatory interactions
