Role Description The Android role at Cogniter Technologies is a full time, on-site position based in Chandigarh. The team member will design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications, ensuring high performance, stability, and usability.

Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, implementing new features, fixing bugs, and optimizing existing codebases. The role also involves participating in code reviews, documenting technical work,



and staying current with Android frameworks, tools, and best practices to continuously improve product quality and user experience.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills to troubleshoot issues, interpret data, and optimize app performance.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with designers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Information Technology skills, including experience with Android SDK, Java/Kotlin, REST APIs, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Project Management abilities to plan tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently within agile or similar methodologies.
- Research skills to evaluate new tools, frameworks, and best practices for Android development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience with UI/UX principles for mobile, debugging tools, and testing frameworks for Android.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on quality, scalability, and maintainability of code.
