About the Role
Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is looking for a dynamic and highly organized Coordinator for the Rotary Peace Centre at SIU. The coordinator will work closely with the Centre Head, SIU management and departments, Rotary International (USA), Rotary International South Asia Office (RISAO), faculty members, distinguished experts, and international Rotary Peace Fellows.
The role requires robust administrative, coordination, communication, event management, and stakeholder-management skills, along with the ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Centre Head in the smooth day-to-day functioning and administration of the Rotary Peace Centre.
- Coordinate with SIU departments, Rotary International, RISAO, faculty, Fellows, and other stakeholders.
- Manage arrangements at the Rotary Peace Centre and Sandipani Homotel for classes, accommodation, meetings, and related activities.
- Coordinate and manage field trips, community outreach activities, and transportation arrangements.
- Make travel, accommodation,
and logistical arrangements for distinguished faculty, experts, and guest speakers.
- Coordinate with SIU departments for administrative processes, including raising Purchase Orders (POs) on ERP and other required processes.
- Coordinate regularly with Rotary International and its administrative teams and ensure timely communication and follow-up.
- Provide social media support for the Centre's activities, events, achievements, and initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage major events including Welcome Week and Capstone Seminar Week.
- Handle official email communication, responses, correspondence, and follow-ups with various stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and transparent records, documentation, databases, and administrative files of the Centre.
- Maintain and regularly update Rotary Peace Centre Fellows and alumni records/details.
- Coordinate accommodation and on-ground requirements for Fellows during their stay.
- Support community engagement and outreach activities, including required logistics and transportation.
- Ensure smooth coordination of multiple activities simultaneously and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as the Rotary Peace Centre expands its academic and professional programmes.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
