Co-Founder & Founding CTO – Technology & Product About the Opportunity

We are building a new technology-driven startup and are looking for an exceptional IIT graduate to join our founding team as Co-Founder & Founding CTO.

This is not a conventional developer or employment role. We are looking for a technical founder who wants to build a company from the ground up and take complete ownership of technology, product, architecture, and engineering.

You will work closely with the founding team to turn the business vision into a scalable digital product. While the other co-founders will primarily focus on business development, sales, marketing, partnerships, customer acquisition, revenue, operations, and commercial growth, you will own the technology and product ecosystem.

Your Role

As Founding CTO, you will initially be a hands-on technical builder, responsible for taking the product from idea to launch and beyond.

You will own

- Product development and technical execution
- Software architecture and technology strategy
- Frontend and backend development
- Databases, APIs, and integrations
- Cloud infrastructure and deployment
- Security, performance, reliability, and scalability
- Engineering standards and development processes
- Technology roadmap
- Future technology hiring and team leadership

As the company grows, your role will evolve from primarily building the product yourself to building and leading the technology organization. Key ResponsibilitiesProduct & Development

- Build the company's web platform and applications from scratch.
- Own the complete software development lifecycle: architecture, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop frontend and backend systems.
- Design and manage databases, APIs, and integrations.
- Build secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure.
- Continuously improve the product based on business and customer requirements.

Technology Strategy
- Define the technology stack and overall architecture.
- Establish coding standards, development processes,



and technical best practices.
- Select and manage third-party technologies, APIs, and SaaS tools.
- Make practical build-vs-buy decisions.
- Ensure the platform is optimized for performance, security, maintainability, and scalability.

Building the Technology Team
- Start as a hands-on individual contributor.
- As the company grows, hire and lead developers and technical talent.
- Mentor engineers and establish a strong engineering culture.
- Build processes that allow the technology organization to scale.
- Eventually lead the complete technology function.

Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who genuinely wants to build, own, and lead, not simply execute assigned development tasks.

Requirements

- Graduate/Postgraduate from a premier IIT.
- Robust background in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Ideally 0–2 years of experience only .
- Exceptional fresh graduates with robust technical capabilities are welcome.
- Strong hands-on programming and product-building ability.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Comfortable making technology decisions independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
- Strong ability and willingness to learn quickly.

The ideal candidate can genuinely say: “Give me the idea, and I'll figure out how to build it.”

You do not need to know everything today. Strong fundamentals, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly matter more than knowing every technology listed below.
