Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically curious Cloud Operations Intern to join our Cloud Services team. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting cloud infrastructure, application monitoring, incident management, deployments, and operational activities in a production setting.

The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of AWS Cloud services, Linux, networking, databases, and cloud infrastructure, along with a strong willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support 24x7 cloud operations and production infrastructure as required.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and application availability to identify potential incidents and service disruptions.
- Assist in incident identification, troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution while ensuring defined SLAs are met.
- Support cloud infrastructure hosting business-critical applications and products.
- Assist with production application deployments across public and private cloud environments.
- Work with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, EKS, Lambda, and EMR.
- Monitor system health, application performance, alerts, and infrastructure metrics using available monitoring tools.
- Assist senior team members in troubleshooting infrastructure and application-related issues.
- Maintain operational procedures, documentation, and incident records.
- Develop an understanding of cloud security, infrastructure standards,



and compliance requirements, particularly within a FinTech environment.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Development, IT, and other cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.
- Continuously learn and adopt new cloud technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Assist in improving operational processes, monitoring capabilities, and overall system reliability.
- Communicate technical issues and updates clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Cloud Computing and Cloud Infrastructure.
- Foundational knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Basic understanding of services such as EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, or EKS.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools.
- Understanding of fundamental networking concepts such as IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, and security groups.
- Basic understanding of databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.




- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong sense of ownership and willingness to work in an operational environment.

Preferred Skills
- Exposure to AWS CloudWatch or other monitoring tools.
- Basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Familiarity with incident management, ticketing systems, or IT service management practices.
- Understanding of cloud security and compliance concepts.
- Academic or personal projects involving AWS or cloud infrastructure.

Work Environment
- Willingness to work in a 24x7 operational environment, including rotational shifts when required.
- Ability to participate in incident response and timely escalation of production issues.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.
- Passion for learning, troubleshooting, and understanding how large-scale applications and cloud infrastructure operate.
