Role Description The Cloud Architect role at Proximal Cloud is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving secure, scalable cloud architectures that support Proximal’s Sovereign Enterprise AI Platform and related products. Day-to-day work includes collaborating with product, engineering, and security teams to define solution blueprints, selecting appropriate infrastructure components, and ensuring integrations across on-premise, private cloud, and edge environments.

Architect will create and maintain architectural documentation, guide development teams on best practices, and perform technical reviews to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with data sovereignty requirements. The role also involves evaluating new technologies, contributing to reference architectures, and supporting enterprise customers in designing robust deployments of Proximal’s AI solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong solution design skills, including Solution Architecture and Architecture for complex, distributed cloud and hybrid environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud and on-premise Infrastructure, including networking, storage, compute, and security controls.
- Proficiency in Software Development practices, with the ability to work closely with engineering teams on implementation and automation.
- Experience with systems Integration, including APIs, microservices, and data platforms across multiple environments.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP or private cloud stacks) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and data sovereignty principles relevant to enterprise and regulated industries.
- Ability to create clear architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and documentation for diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
