Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Clinical Psychologist role based in Gurgaon.
The Clinical
Psychologist will conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and collaborating closely with psychiatrists, counsellors, and other team members to ensure integrated care. The role involves providing crisis intervention when required, contributing to case discussions, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
The Clinical
Psychologist may also support psychoeducation initiatives,
group therapy programs, and community outreach activities aligned with AIMAN’s mission.
Qualifications
- Advanced academic training in Clinical Psychology (e.g., Master’s or M.Phil./Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institution) and valid licensure/registration as per applicable regulations.
- Strong skills in psychological assessment and diagnosis, including use of standardized tests, clinical interviews, and case formulation.
- Competence in evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches (such as CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, family or couples therapy) and treatment planning.
- Ability to maintain clear, accurate clinical documentation and manage confidential information in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centered, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to care.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and collaborating effectively with psychiatrists, counsellors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Comfort in managing acute distress and providing crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning when needed.
- Commitment to inclusive, culturally sensitive practice and continuous career development through supervision, training, and research engagement.
- Prior clinical experience in hospital, clinic, or mental health center settings; experience in community mental health or outreach is an added advantage.
