Hiring : Clinical Data Validation Engineer

Experience: 5+ Years

Locations: Mumbai/Pune/Hyderabad/Bangalore

Budget: Up to ₹20 LPA

Key Responsibilities

- Develop data cleaning reports, study status metrics, monitoring reports, and visualizations for clinical trials.
- Create and test clinical data listings to support data review and validation activities.
- Develop and maintain a reusable library of automated validation checks.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Configuration Specialists, Clinical Data Management, and Medical Reviewers to define business rules and data validation requirements.
- Provide programming expertise to support data cleaning and data quality activities.
- Enhance existing reporting tools, macros, and reusable libraries or develop new solutions.
- Support clinical trial data review plans and ensure accuracy and integrity of study data.
- Create required documentation throughout the study lifecycle.
- Develop innovative solutions to improve data validation and reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable SOPs, processes, regulatory requirements, and data standards.

Required Skills & Experience





- 5+ years of experience in programming clinical trial listings and/or visualizations.

• Hands-on experience with Veeva CDB, JReview, and/or Elluminate .

• Hands-on experience with Elluminate report development is preferred.

• Experience with at least one programming/query language: CQL, SQL, SAS, R, or Python .

• Knowledge of clinical database systems such as Metadata Rave, Veeva, or InForm .

- Understanding of clinical trial terminology and drug development processes.

• Knowledge of CDISC/SDTM standards and regulatory requirements is preferred.

- Strong understanding of clinical data validation, data cleaning, and reporting.
- Positive working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver within deadlines.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Biology, Health Sciences , or another relevant field, or equivalent experience.
