Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Engineer to plan, design, and oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction plans

- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress

- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines

- Perform structural calculations and ensure design compliance with safety codes

- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and material take-offs

- Supervise in office labor and subcontractors to ensure quality control

- Manage project schedules and report on progress/delays





- Conduct soil testing and geotechnical assessments as needed

- Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations

- Liaise with government authorities for approvals and inspections

- Troubleshoot on-site engineering issues and propose solutions

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech); PE/Chartered Engineer license preferred

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and MS Project

- Strong understanding of construction materials and methods

- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations

- Excellent communication and project management skills

- Willingness to work on-site and travel as required

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling)

- Certification in project management (PMP) is a plus
