Hotel Aida is seeking a passionate and skilled Chinese Chef de Partie (CDP) to lead our Chinese & Pan Asian section. The ideal candidate will bring authentic flavors, strong wok skills, and leadership ability to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced professional kitchen.

Key Responsibilities Cooking & Preparation

- Prepare and cook a wide variety of authentic Chinese & Pan Asian dishes to perfection.
- Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation standards for every dish.
- Manage the Chinese section efficiently, ensuring timely preparation during service.

Staff Supervision & Training

- Supervise and guide Commis chefs and junior kitchen staff.
- Train team members in culinary techniques, recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.

Kitchen Operations & Management

- Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety at all times.
- Monitor inventory, control stock levels, and place orders as required.
- Calculate and manage food costs effectively.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service operations.





Menu Development

- Assist in menu planning and introduce innovative dishes or seasonal specials.
- Stay updated with current culinary trends and continuously enhance offerings.

Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Chinese Cook/CDP.
- 1-year Diploma in Hotel Management or Catering Technology preferred.
- Robust knowledge of authentic Chinese & Pan Asian cuisine.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Good understanding of food cost calculation and portion control.
