Job Summary The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for leading and overseeing the overall financial management of the organization. The role involves developing financial strategies, ensuring financial stability and compliance, managing budgets and cash flow, strengthening internal controls, monitoring financial performance, and providing strategic financial insights to support management decision-making and business growth.
The CFO will work closely with the management and department heads to improve financial efficiency, manage risks, optimize resources, and ensure sustainable financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
A. Financial Strategy & Business Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization’s business objectives and growth plans.
- Provide strategic financial advice and insights to management for effective decision-making.
- Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Monitor overall financial performance against budgets, targets, and business plans.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, profitability improvement, and financial efficiency.
- Support management in evaluating major business decisions, investments, and financial commitments.
B. Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee the preparation and review of accurate and timely financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Analyze financial performance and provide management with regular financial reports and business insights.
- Monitor key financial indicators, profitability, expenses, working capital, and cash position.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Review financial data, accounting records, and management reports for accuracy and completeness.
C. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Oversee daily and long-term cash flow management and fund planning.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to maintain healthy working capital.
- Develop strategies for effective receivables collection and outstanding management.
- Ensure efficient utilization of company funds and financial resources.
- Monitor banking activities, credit facilities, and financial commitments.
D. Financial Controls, Risk & Governance
- Establish, strengthen, and monitor internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Identify financial risks and develop appropriate risk mitigation measures.
- Ensure proper authorization and control over financial transactions.
- Monitor adherence to company financial policies, procedures, and approval systems.
- Conduct periodic reviews of financial processes to identify control gaps and improve efficiency.
E. Taxation, Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other applicable statutory matters.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Liaise with external consultants, tax professionals, auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
- Ensure proper maintenance and documentation of financial records.
F. Cost Management & Profitability
- Monitor operating costs and identify areas for cost reduction and financial optimization.
- Analyze product, operational, and departmental costs where applicable.
- Support management in improving margins and overall profitability.
- Review major expenditures and financial commitments.
- Develop financial analysis to support pricing, purchasing, inventory, and business decisions.
G. Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead, guide, and monitor the Finance & Accounts team.
- Establish clear responsibilities, performance standards, and reporting systems for the finance team.
- Review team performance and identify training and development requirements.
- Coordinate with HR, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Procurement, and other departments on financial matters.
- Promote accuracy, accountability, discipline, confidentiality, and professionalism within the finance function.
H. Process Improvement & Technology
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting and financial processes.
- Strengthen the use of ERP and accounting systems for financial control and reporting.
- Implement efficient reporting systems and financial dashboards where required.
- Drive automation and process improvements to reduce errors and improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- CA / CMA / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably with significant experience in a senior finance or leadership position.
- Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, taxation, audit, and cash-flow management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Experience in managing and leading finance/accounting teams.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, risk management, and business finance.

- Process Improvement & Strategic Thinking – Ability to improve financial systems, processes, and reporting mechanisms.

- Confidentiality & Integrity – Strong ethical standards and discretion in handling sensitive financial and organizational information.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
