Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated US Accounting & Taxation Professional to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, bookkeeping, and US taxation while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and applicable federal and state tax regulations. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with US GAAP, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including bookkeeping, journal entries, accruals, general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, collections, account reconciliations, and employee reimbursements.
- Prepare, review, and file US Individual and Business Tax Returns, including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120-S, while ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Gather, analyze,



and interpret financial information to support tax compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Assist in tax planning, tax research, and advisory assignments by identifying tax-saving opportunities and ensuring adherence to evolving tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare financial statements, variance analyses, and other management reports to support business decision-making.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to tax notices, audit requests, and client queries by providing accurate financial information and supporting documentation.
- Work with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems to manage accounting and tax processes efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, strengthen internal controls, and support process automation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality accounting and taxation services while staying updated on changes in US GAAP, accounting standards, and US federal and state tax regulations.

Qualifications

Required

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Intermediate.
- 2–5+ years of relevant experience in US Accounting, Bookkeeping, US Taxation, or Public Accounting.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, accounting principles, financial reporting, and US taxation.
- Hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing US Individual and Business Tax Returns.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and financial data analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines.
