JOB PURPOSE

Efficiently manage procurement of all capex items for India plants and offices. Ensure efficient sourcing of all Civil and Infrastructure related projects.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABLITIES

- Manages activities in capex, civil and tool procurement function.
- Ensures products and services are purchased in the most cost- and time-efficient manner.
- Ensuring that all team members follow the procurement policies laid down in the organisation.
- Day to day monitoring and control over the pending sourcing requests
- Guiding and directing team members to ensure right sourcing is done w.r.t. cost, quality and delivery
- Working on SAP ERP system
- Shall be able to handle high value complex sourcing projects
- Be part of CFT on various VAVE projects and ensure optimum results of those projects
- Mentoring, Directing and motivating the team of buyers
- Monthly reporting on capex and civil procurement
- Control the bidder list, current technologies, E - auctions and various e-Sourcing tools
- Evaluate new suppliers and also conduct periodic review of existing supplier base




- Ensure the department function with highest level of integrity and transparency

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION:

- MANDATORY - BE / B.Tech [Civil Preferred]
- PREFERRED - MBA

EXPERIENCE - 12-15 years in Indirect Purchase with minimum 5-7 years experience in handling civil project sourcing [MANDATORY]

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGED / SKILLS

- Knowledge of machinery equipment, civil & MEP
- Good analytical skills
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Strong People management
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- SAP working knowledge is must

REPORTING: The position reports to the Category Head - Indirect Purchase and has a Team reporting to it. RELOCATION: Outstation Candidates will have to RE-LOCATE to PUNE with Family and will be eligible to avail benefits under the Relocation Policy.
