Job Title: Cashier

Department: Operations / Front of House

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions accurately while also supporting day-to-day service operations. This role includes food serving, order handling, customer assistance, maintaining cleanliness, and other front-of-house duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
- Accurately handle cash, card, digital payments, and other payment methods.
- Process customer orders and issue bills/receipts.
- Handle cash responsibly and maintain accurate cash records.
- Assist customers with menu items, pricing, offers, and general queries.
- Serve food and beverages to customers as required.
- Assist with taking orders, packing food, and handing over orders to customers.
- Ensure food and beverages are presented and served properly.
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness of the dining and service areas.
- Support the kitchen/service team during busy periods.
- Refill supplies such as takeaway packaging, napkins, cutlery, and other service items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic cashier and front-of-house area.
- Follow all company procedures related to cash handling, hygiene, food safety, and customer service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties when required.




- Support other operational tasks assigned by the manager or supervisor.
- Work cooperatively with team members to ensure smooth and productive service.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and refer serious issues to the supervisor.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a cashier, service staff, or in a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cash handling and billing/POS systems.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Friendly, polite, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to perform both cashiering and food/service-related duties.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine service tasks.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and cleanliness standards is an advantage.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
