We are looking for a confident and guest-focused Cafe Captain to supervise daily floor operations and ensure every guest receives warm, attentive service.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and help them with seating.
- Take orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
- Supervise waiters and assign tables and duties.
- Ensure timely food and beverage service.
- Handle guest requests, feedback and complaints professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper table presentation.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, reception and management.
- Manage group bookings, celebrations and buffet service.
- Check bills before presenting them to guests.
- Train and guide service staff on grooming and hospitality standards.
- Provide regular updates to the Cafe Manager.





Requirements

- Previous experience as a Captain or Senior Steward in a cafe, restaurant, hotel or resort.
- Good communication and team-handling skills.
- Polite, presentable and confident personality.
- Ability to work during weekends, holidays and busy hours.
- Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems is preferred.
