Role Description The Cafe Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for overseeing daily café operations and ensuring a smooth, guest-focused experience. This role includes managing staff schedules, leading and motivating the team, and maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety.

The Cafe

Manager will supervise food and beverage preparation and presentation, coordinate inventory and vendor relationships, and monitor costs to support profitability. They will handle guest interactions,



resolve concerns, drive sales through upselling and promotions, and support local marketing initiatives. The role also involves training team members, implementing standard operating procedures, and reporting operational performance to senior management.

Qualifications

- Robust customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage guests and lead a diverse team effectively.
- Solid knowledge of food & beverage operations and food service standards, including hygiene and safety compliance.
- Sales skills with experience in upselling, managing promotions, and meeting revenue targets in a café or hospitality setting.
- Previous experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality management, including team supervision and shift management.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as needed.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on operational efficiency.
- Basic proficiency in POS systems and inventory management tools; familiarity with MS Office or similar software.
- Diploma or degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; equivalent experience is valued.
